Automated phone messages promote seniors' health


Every week, about 600 seniors across West Virginia receive an automated phone message from a company in Texas that they welcome and that some even save. The one-minute messages are relayed through West Virginia University Extension Service's Calling for Your Health program, and convey health tips written and recorded by local extension agents for staying active and maintaining a healthy diet among a variety of other topics.
