Baby Boomers Are Retiring With No Where To Go?

Did you know that there is a staffing problem in the assisted living industry? Yea, me either. This is an issue that is not getting a lot of light, but is soon to be a huge predicament. According to CEOs this is the worst shortage of caregivers in decades. With the baby boomers population growing and not enough entry in the industry, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for this issue.

According to Pew Research Center, baby boomers make up about 23.5% of the US population. That is almost a quarter of the population. Majority of the baby boomers are looking to retire or have already retired, yet the assisted living communities are rejecting admissions, because they do not have enough employees.

In an article on the PostBulletin websiteChristine Bakke the CEO of Madonna Towers, a prominent assisted living community in Minnesota noted "I will tell you in the 20 years I've done this, staffing has been an issue. In 20 years, this is the worst I've seen it."

Nursing homes are now advertising aggressively on billboards, social media and anything they can get their hands on to get word out about the need for caregivers with little to no success.

Call-Em-All has been a big help to over 250 assisted living communities. With 114 broadcasts sent out to more than 14,000 contacts, Call-Em-All is great way to contact potential employees. Instead of aggressively marketing on billboards or social media, give us a shot with a free trial.
